New Managing Director for Austria

NFON AG, the only pan-European cloud PBX provider, today announced the appointment of Gernot Hofstetter as Managing Director of NFON Austria. As Managing Director, he is responsible for Sales in Austria and CEE. César Flores Rodríguez, CSO of NFON AG: “Austria is one of the key markets in Europe and Gernot will also make a significant contribution to the fulfilment of our growth strategy in CEE – there is an enormous market penetration potential. We want to become number one in Europe." Gernot Hofstetter succeeds Markus Krammer, Vice President Products & New Business, who has headed the company as interim managing director since January.

Many years of experience

Gernot Hofstetter has more than ten years experience as Sales Director at Interoute Austria, most recently as Branch Manager. "Driving digital transformation forward is a great task. With NFON we focus on a first-class customer experience and the highest data security standards. Austria and Eastern Europe play an important role in European digitisation. NFON offers a firstclass and highly scalable technology platform for the future of business communication," Gernot Hofstetter emphasizes.
