Accessibility Statement
pursuant to the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG) in conjunction with Section 14 BFSG and Annex 3 BFSG
Last updated: 1 July 2026
This accessibility statement applies to the Administration Portal operated by NFON AG, available at admin.nfon.com, including all functions, content and interactive applications provided there.
The legal basis is the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and the underlying EU Directive 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act). Accessibility is assessed against EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 – Level AA.
Status of accessibility
NFON AG pursues the objective of making the Administration Portal accessible within the meaning of the aforementioned standards. As at the date of this statement, the portal is partially accessible.
Since the initial assessment in March 2026, a substantial proportion of the barriers identified has been remedied. As a result, the Administration Portal has become noticeably more usable for people with impairments.
The areas listed in Section 3 do not yet fully meet the requirements of WCAG 2.2 (Level AA) and EN 301 549 V3.2.1.
Non-accessible content
As things currently stand, individual areas of the Administration Portal are not yet fully accessible. This concerns in particular the following subject areas:
Colour contrast: For individual operating and navigation elements, the recommended minimum contrast ratio is not yet consistently achieved.
Naming of operating elements: Individual buttons, selection fields and links are not yet consistently provided with a designation that can be read out by assistive technologies.
Use of ARIA: In some areas, ARIA attributes and roles are not yet used in full conformity with the specification.
Keyboard operation and focus: Full operability by keyboard and a consistently visible focus indicator are not yet ensured in all areas.
By the end of 2026, NFON AG will address the following subject areas:
Colour contrast: Adjustment of insufficient contrast ratios.
Keyboard navigation: Improvement of operability by keyboard.
Further minor points: Processing of the remaining points identified in the most recent assessment.
Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 1 July 2026 on the basis of the assessment procedure of IFDB GmbH. The assessment is based on an automated analysis in accordance with WCAG 2.2 (Access Score®) carried out in March 2026.
This statement will be updated in the event of significant changes to the Administration Portal.
