2. Nvoice Mobile abroad
The client’s standard data usage option is “dynamic". That is, there is regular signalling between the Nvoice Mobile client on your mobile phone and the telephone system via the data channel. Furthermore, each “callback” request also uses the data channel. This would also not change, if you have activated mobile data on your mobile phone abroad.
Recommendation:
If you do not wish to have signalling abroad, you should set the data usage option in the client to “Carrier bound". This ends signalling. However, you would still be able to use “callback” via data. The Nvoice Mobile client requires about 3KB for a ‘callback” request.
If you do not wish to use any data at all, you can also deactivate the mobile data network directly on the end device. The end device configuration ALWAYS overwrites the Nvoice Mobile client configuration!
After deactivating mobile data on your mobile phone, the “callback” function can no longer be used on end devices!
If you are connected to a WIFI abroad, you can use “callback”.
In case of a continuous or periodic stay abroad, geographical settings of the Nvoice Mobile client must be changed and set for the country you are in via the administration portal! Otherwise, additional costs arise!
