B. Technical requirements


Nvoice for Skype for Business is compatible with the following versions:

  • Lync® Mobile 2013 for Windows Phone
  • Lync® Mobile 2013 for iPhone
  • Lync® Mobile 2013 for iPad
  • Lync® Mobile 2013 for Android
  • Lync 2013 (full version)
  • Lync for Mac 2011 (full version)
  • Lync 2013 Web App in the Internet browser
  • Lync 2010 Attendant (voice operator panel)

The 32bit / 64bit indication refers to the Outlook version not the version of the operating system.


In order to activate Skype for Business with the PBX, the following preconditions have to be met:

Inital requirements

  • A stable network bandwidth (e.g. VoIP, HD videos) has to be set up.
  • Installation rights for the computer where the Skype for Business clients are to be installed.
  • Acceptance of the Microsoft terms.
  • All technical requirements of the Skype for Business clients (according to current Microsoft standards) have to be met.
  • Own Skype for Business licences have to be valid for the entire lifetime.


Technical requirements

  • All required DNS entries at the customer domain have to be correctly entered.
  • The wildcard subdomain has to be deactivated for the domain that is used for Skype for Business usage.
  • All entries of the ADMIN-C and TECH-C have to be entered correctly and have to be reachable in the domain.
  • The validation of the domain owner has to be validated through a public certificate authority.
